Senior year is such a meaningful season. Your senior photo session should feel like a celebration of who you are right now, not a stiff or stressful experience.
If you’re feeling unsure about what to expect or how to prepare, this guide will walk you through everything so you can show up confident, relaxed, and ready to enjoy your seesion.

My approach to senior photography is relaxed, natural, and focused on capturing your personality—not forcing awkward poses.
Most senior sessions include a mix of:
You do not need to know how to pose. I’ll guide you through everything in a way that feels easy and natural.
At the beginning of your session, it’s completely normal to feel a little nervous. Within about 10–15 minutes, most seniors start to relax and feel more comfortable.
Senior sessions typically last around 45 minutes depending on your package.
This gives us enough time for:
Your outfits should feel like you.

If you’re doing it yourself:
Most importantly, don’t try anything brand new the day of your session.
A small bag with:
If you’re unsure whether something will work, bring it—we can decide together.
The best light is usually:
This light is soft, flattering, and creates that warm, timeless glow you see in most of my work.
Almost every senior tells me they feel awkward at first. That is completely normal.
My job is to guide you through natural movement and prompts so you’re never left wondering what to do.
You don’t need to “perform” or know how to pose—you just need to show up as yourself.
We’ll choose a location that fits your personality and style. Some favorites include natural parks, fields, lakeside spots, and simple open spaces around Avon, Cleveland, and surrounding areas.
Your location matters less than how you feel during the session—which is why I focus so much on keeping things relaxed and intentional.
After your session, I send over the unedited gallery so you can select the images that look and feel most like you. I edit your images in a way that stays true to natural tones and timeless storytelling.
You can expect your gallery to feel:
You’ll receive the final gallery where you can download your images.
Senior year only happens once, and your photos should feel like a reflection of this season—not something overly posed or forced.
If you’re ready for a senior session that feels relaxed, real, and meaningful, I’d love to work with you.
